Marjorie Kline Steele, wife of the late Victor "Gene" Steele, died March 15 at home surrounded by her loving family. Mrs. Steele was a life long resident of Somerville. She was employed as an assembler for Jelco Lab, a Division of J&J, in Raritan and was an active member of St. Thomas A.M.E. Zion Church in Somerville where she served on Altar Guild, Usher Board, Hospitality, Missionary Society and Deaconess Board.
Surviving are her daughters Phyllis (James) Congo of Somerset and Wanda (Doug) Dorsey of Somerville, her sister Vera Kline, 8 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren, a special niece Lisa Jackson as well as a host of nieces, nephews, friends and loved ones.
Visiting hours from 7pm-9pm on Friday, March 18, and Saturday, March 19 beginning at 10am at St. Thomas A.M.E. Zion Church, 75 Davenport St., Somerville. The Funeral Service will begin at 11am on Saturday, March 19, at the Church.
