Mabel Wallace, wife of the late Belton Wallace, died April 5 at Somerset Medical Center.
Mrs. Wallace was born in Somerville, resided in Bridgewater and then moved to Andalusia, Al. for 21 years, before moving back to Somerville in 1993. She was a graduate of Somerville High School and retired in 1972 as a food service employee for Ethicon, Inc. Bridgewater after many years.
"Aunt Mabel" as she was known by those who knew her best, loved Christmas, her sweets, painting, crafts and most of all her family. She blessed all with her soft, calm demeanor. She was famous for saying her blood type was B positive, and that is how she lived her life, being positive. Surviving are her sister-in-law, Ouida Venis, nieces, nephew and great niece and great nephews.
Visitation will begin 10am on Wednesday, April 9, concluding with a Funeral Service at 11am at the Cusick Funeral Home, Somerville. Interment, New Cemetery, Somerville.
