Dr. Christopher John D'Aleo, age 62, passed away on June 11, 2014 at his home in Bonita Springs, Florida.
Dr. Christopher D'Aleo was born on December 22, 1951 in New York to Bernard and Filomena D'Aleo. He grew up in New York, later moved to New Jersey where he lived and worked for over 30 years, and retired recently to Florida to enjoy his warm paradise and endless love for the beach. He was also a devout Catholic who found great comfort in practicing his faith.
Dr. Christopher D'Aleo received his B.S. degree in Biology from the City College of New York, then obtained his M.A. degree in Management from The College of New Jersey and later pursued his Ph.D. at Southwest University in the study of Environmental Sciences. He offered his expertise in the field of toxicology to many distinguished Fortune 500 companies throughout his successful career. Dr. C. D'Aleo also had professional associations with the Mid-Atlantic Society of Toxicology, the American College of Forensic Examiners (Diplomat Status), and the American Association for Cancer Research.
Dr. Christopher J. D'Aleo is survived by his parents, Bernard and Filomena D'Aleo, a brother, Bernard Jr.; His four children, Andrea, Amanda Murphy, Christopher Jr., Elizabeth Bucknam; three grandchildren; loving friend Gerald Lee, as well as many other friends and family who will miss him dearly. Visitation from 2-4pm and 7-9pm on Thursday, June 19, at the Cusick Funeral Home, Somerville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 9:30am on Friday, June 20, at the Immaculate Conception Church, 35 Mountain Ave., Somerville.
