Harold Frank Marrazza, age 82, went to be with the Lord Sunday, April 3, 2016 at his home in Somerset, NJ. He was surrounded by his large and loving family during his final days.
"Harry" was born October 30, 1933, in Nutley, NJ. He was preceded in death by his parents, Antonio and Anna (Oese) Marrazza and had 4 brothers John, Ralph, Casey, and Tony. Harry is survived by his two sisters, Betty Marrazza, and Val Carney.
He attended Nutley High School in NJ and served our country as a US Soldier in the US Army in 1954-1956. Harold was a successful business man owning The Centre Delicatessen (1956-1974) in Nutley, NJ and the Holiday House (1975-1993) in Whitehouse, NJ. He attended LCBC church in Manheim, PA and loved the Lord. He was incredibly fit and enjoyed tennis, hiking, and gardening.
Harold was preceded in death by his wife Grace Lusardi whom he married in 1987. He was previously married to Gloria DePirri in 1956. He is survived by his beloved children Victoria Malfitano and husband Enrico, Bonnie Matthews and husband John, Mark Marrazza and wife Kristina, Lisa Marrazza and companion William Demko, Jr. and Thomas Marrazza, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life Ceremony will be held on Saturday, May 7th, at the Somerville Elks, 375 Union Avenue, Bridgewater, New Jersey, beginning at 12 noon with Military Honors presented at 1pm with a luncheon to follow at the Elks.
